This Privacy Policy explains how the AI role-play chat application (the "App") developed by Starring Studio ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

To generate AI replies, the App transmits your chat content to third-party AI model service providers. The App uses a mix of overseas models and mainland China models: mainland China models such as Qwen (通义千问) and DeepSeek, and overseas models such as Google Gemini. The model is dynamically selected according to demand, and the App will switch between them as needed to ensure transparency.

The transmitted chat content is used solely for generating AI replies and for no other purpose. We do not provide the AI model providers with your personal identity information (such as your real name, email address, or phone number), and we do not use your chat content to train AI models. The model providers process the content only for generating replies, in accordance with their own data processing terms.

Apart from the AI model service providers described in Section 5 (who receive chat content solely to generate AI replies), we do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your personal information to any third party. The App contains no advertising SDKs and no analytics SDKs. This policy is fully consistent with our Data Safety declarations on Google Play: no personal data is collected for advertising, analytics, or fraud prevention purposes, and no personal data is shared with third parties for those purposes.

Retention period: your account data (email, nickname, avatar) is retained only for as long as your account exists and is necessary to provide the App's features. Chat history stays on your device and is not stored by us. If we are required by law, or for legitimate security, anti-fraud, or compliance purposes, to retain certain records beyond this period, such retention will be strictly limited to what is legally required.

Important: account deletion removes your data from our servers only. Chat history stored locally on your device is not affected by account deletion; you can remove it at any time by deleting the conversations in the App.

All network communication between the App and our server is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Data stored on our servers is protected by access controls.

Because chat content is stored locally on your device, its protection also depends on the security of your device itself (screen lock, OS updates, etc.).

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
